MILLS RANKED AMONGST THE TOP

Newsweek recently released its list of America's top public high schools for 2009. Mills and four other SMUHSD schools were ranked amongst the nation's elite -- Mills at 283rd, Burlingame at 321st, Aragon at 339th, San Mateo at 397th, and Hillsdale at 476th. 2009-10 SCHOOL YEAR REGISTRATION WEEK
Students are required to bring their completed registration forms on the dates and times indicated below.

12th grade -- Monday, August 10 -- 9am to 12noon or 1pm to 3pm
11th grade -- Tuesday, August 11 -- 9am to 12noon or 1pm to 3pm
10th grade -- Wednesday, August 12 -- 9am to 12noon or 1pm to 3pm
***Make Up for 10th, 11th or 12th grade will be on Thursday, August 13 from 9am to 11am.***

9th grade -- Thursday, August 13 -- 9am to 11am or 1pm to 3pm
A mandatory 9th Grade Orientation will take place on 08/13/2009 from 9am to 11am. You will have an opportunity to become familiar with the Mills High School campus as well as participate in exciting activities. The orientation will include brunch/lunch.

Thursday - October 29, 2009 - 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Highlights of the evening include:
• UC and CSU system representatives and speakers
• CSM, Skyline and Canada Colleges and presentation
• Financial aid information and presentations
• Reps from a wide variety of universities throughout the country
• Regional Occupational Program
• Apprenticeship programs, trades and special guests
